JLM stands with communities during times of vulnerability, extending support with available resources to those affected by drought and natural disasters. In regions where survival becomes a daily struggle, we strive to bring relief, hope, and essential assistance.
According to a study by the South Asia Environment and Social Development Department of the World Bank (2005), Prakasam District is identified as one of the most drought-prone areas in Andhra Pradesh. Notably, it is the only district in coastal Andhra listed among the most severely affected regions.
Our Response
During periods of drought and natural calamities, we actively reach out to the most affected villages, ensuring that essential needs are met despite limited resources.
